This discussion of the responsibility of governments to redress past wrongs strikes a sombre note with dark title and part title pages and chapter opener pages screened in 10 per cent black. The original cover design more closely echoed the setting of the title page but was changed at the request of the marketing department. With text set generously in 10.5/15 x 23p Adobe Caslon and FF DIN display, the book is a slim 112 pages, with a trim of 5½ x 8½ inches.
