The collage on the dustjacket and title page uses the author’s identity card (far right) and an archival photograph of a Canadian internment camp. The serifed typeface is Stempel Garamond, which is also used for the text; the sans serif is FF Scala Sans, which is also used for captions, chapter numbers, and running heads.
