Robert Edwards Holloway

Newfoundland Educator, Scientist, Photographer, 1874–1904

Ruby L. Gough

McGill-Queen's University Press

This biography features Holloway's striking photographs of Labrador and Newfoundland taken on summer trips. These trips are described in separate sections called "Summer Interludes" interspersed between chapters. Chapter opening pages use Minion for the chapter number and Copperplate Gothic for the chapter title. The summer interlude pages use the opposite setting – Copperplate Gothic for the interlude number and Minion for the title. To keep the length of the book to 296 pages, the text was set in 10.5/13.5 x 25p6 Minion on a standard 6 x 9-inch trim.
