Made in Canada

Craft and Design in the Sixties

Edited by Alan C. Elder

McGill-Queen's University Press for the Design Exchange, Toronto,
in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Civilization

The editor, Alan C. Elder, and the Design Exchange and the Canadian Museum of Civilization chose the photograph of the chair that appears on the cover. Since the photograph did not appear anywhere else in the book, the title page and the three part titles were designed to echo the cover. Gill Sans is used as the display type throughout the book. The text is set in 10.5/14 x 27p Cartier Book. The trim is 7½ x 9 inches and the length is 144 pages.
