Typography honours content in this unconventional proposal for a philosophy of the body that will recognize its "delicate responsiveness and astonishing inventiveness." The cover illustration of a Hindu contortionist inspired the choice of Democratica and the mix of upper- and lowercase letters used for the title and echoed by the chapter titles and subheads. The text is gracefully set to a width of 26 picas in 10.8/18 Weiss. The trim is 6 x 9 inches and the length is 208 pages.
