In War and Famine

Missionaries in China's Honan Province in the 1940s

Erleen J. Christensen

McGill-Queen's University Press

Christensen recounts the wartime experience of her parents and their fellow missionaries, including her father's involvement with the OSS. The text is highly legible in 10.5/13.5 x 25p Sabon. The title page was revised to reflect the cover, designed by René Clement. The title and chapter numbers are set in Dearest while the chapter titles are set in period-appropriate Gill Sans. Photographs from the author's family collection add interest to the narrative. The trim is 6 x 9 inches and the length is 304 pages.
